1959 Massey Ferguson 35 tractor 4 cylinder

  
Never picked up so on here again. Bought this from a local chap that used it for mowing a 1 acre paddock less than a month ago. He had new wheels tires and brakes fitted. I bought it as I need it for mowing, chain arrowing and fencing. Had two of these when I was a kid and nostalgia took over.

As soon as I got it home I realised that it is the earlier model with the single clutch meaning that for the rear arms to go up and down the clutch has to be up, the same as the old grey Ferguson's. Not a deal breaker but frustrating when mowing as I have to keep taking it out of gear. My old tractors I had when I was a kid always needed easy start. It takes a lot of glow plug action and apparently two are not working for it to start and that takes a while. Once running its OK but of you leave it for half an hour it then needs glow plugs again to start.

So its the usual 4 cylinder issues that along with the early hydraulics its not for me. I have a lot of work to do and so its for sale.
