Massey Ferguson Grey t20 TED petrol/TVO Vintage Tractor

  

1956 Massey Ferguson Grey t20 TED petrol/TVO Vintage Tractor no v5 bit has stamp on steering column. This was originally bought as a none runner for parts for my fathers tea but turned out to be not a bad tractor after he had a tinker hes a retired agricultural engineer lecturer so these are the tractors he started his trade on. So basically its to good to brake but need the space so its up forsale. Engine runs really tidy 40-60 on the oil pressure gauge its have a block repair and has been done tidy by the looks as there are no leaks engine starts on the key and stick but the battery is not the best. Gears all select great clutch is ok a little jumpy but its been standing just needs using but its a little noisy I have changed the oil so see if that helps and pto goes in and out.

Hydraulics work great every thing is nice and straight and comes with rare tipping pipe. Body work is great only the wings have be filled by the previous owner so may need new skins but very usable.

Tyres have good treat but have age related crack three out the four are original Goodyear diamonds all hold air. Front wheels shot blasted and primed. Air filter reconed and primed. Seat tidyed up and primed. Engine breather to top of air filter.

Link arm ball lost it when I took it for a drive. All in all not a show pony but would make a great tractor with a small amount of work or straight to work for a small holding or horse yard just to tidy the minarg. I have added a photo of the block repair. Its also a 12v system on this particular t20.
