For sale: Massey Ferguson 290 4wd. Totally original and in remarkably straight condition (mudguards aside). The lift-off Duncan Supercab is in excellent shape. It starts, runs and drives well and the clutch and brakes are very good, although the handbrake lever is sticky.

The paint on the skid unit is excellent. The seat back and base are broken but the original mechanism is quite serviceable - we have a replacement none genuine replacement if required, however.

It is still on it's original Goodyear tyres, save for the Kleber fitted to the NSF. This is and excellent candidate for a light restoration - a tinwork respray, tyres, a seat and general servicing and linkage lubrication would transform the tractor. Perkins A4.248 4-cylinder diesel engine. 75HP 2,700 hours showing on the clock - not believed to be correct (clock not working but certainly not been around, judging by the light pedal and steering wheel wear) 12F 4R 3-stick synchromesh gearbox 30KPH Power steering PUH and drawbar. 2 x double acting spool valves.
