Ferguson TE20 Tractor P3 Diesel. 1947 and has V5, it was painted red when I brought around 8 years ago, but grey is showing now. Great project for the next lockdowns, like me you dont have to be an expert & parts are dirt cheap, when the technology was simply and more fun, with no computers on board. Watch Jimmy DeVilles Garage - YouTube channel for a blow by blow Barn Find Grey Fergie restoration or join Friends of Ferguson Heritage Forum for more help.
Over the years things changed : exhaust & cover & elbow, 2 rear tyres done about 2 miles, heater plug, heater solenoid, front grill, Think its a later 144 conversion (bolt on starter than straps on starter) , so inspection maybe needed to verify yourself but it is 3 Cylinder Conversion to Diesel. Rewired all cables barring battery cable. Rear number plate bracket on mud guards. Engine oil and filter just changed & hydraulic topped up.Just brought a new injector pump and will change. I think I have a new steering panel spare. Any other questions you can think of feel free to ask.
Reason for sale brought a new tractor but if I cant get a reasonable offer, Ill keep the peace of history Made in Coventry England.
