THIS IS THE INDUSTRIAL VERSION OF THE 135. Ie marketed for the construction industry, hence yellow. And the rear tyre tread pattern it is. Exactly the same as the red MF 135 agricultural version. This is in exceptional condition for its age and it would appear to have had a very easy life.
The hours displayed are 3364 and I was informed when I bought it that there was no reason to doubt that this was genuine and this is supported by the old receipts I have for it. I have just changed all the oils and filters. The engine starts very easily, sounds good and there is. Smoke when she is running. The PTO works fine, I have tested the hydraulics, the electrics work, the steering is nice and positive you can take your hands off the wheel when flat out and it still continues in a straight line. This is a really nice old tractor in good working order with the exception of some minor items listed below. The only faults which I can find are. The right hand wing is slightly bent (see photos). It looks like something must have dropp. Ed on it at some point. The paint work is scruffy but there is no serious corrosion anywhere even under the wings, just light surface rust. The speedo doesnt work, although the rev counter does. The cigarette lighter is broken. The PTO guard is bent (see photo). The handbrake functions but is stiff and the right-hand brake isnt as good as the left. This is probably just a matter of stripping the brakes and cleaning them. It has the outboard dry drum type brake not inboard wet brakes so is fairly easy to do. The left hand headlamp is a later halogen one whereas the right hand is the original. As can be seen from the photos it has a single hydraulic tipper port which operates off the quadrant control lever. You could fit individual hydraulic spools which are still readily available.I have the V5, the original operators manual and some old. The plough in the pictures is not included in the price but is for sale separately.
This is in good order and turns over easily. One of the land wheels however is seized and would need to be freed off. I havent tried it but the plough points look in good order. I will be putting it up for sale shortly. There is no VAT payable on this. If I wasnt emigrating I wouldnt sell it.
