MASSEY FERGUSON 35 DIESEL TRACTOR 1961. Here we have a very nice 1961 Massey Ferguson 35 Diesel tractor for sale, the tractor starts on the first turn of key and can go to work straight away.

The tractor comes with excellent provenance from new, it was supplied by Sussex Tractors Ltd in 1961 to a farm in Battle (See picture of original Sussex badge on bonnet). It then went onto have three owners to date, the original brown log book is present which is rare to get these days and the current ModernV5 comes with the tractor. The original serial plate is still attached to the dash and all casting marks match to 1961.9See pictures. As you all know the three cylinder 35 is the more desirable model to have as it has the very reliable Diesel Perkins A3.152 Engine. (Best one in my opinion).

231054 Makes it a 1961, Date stamp on steering box also states 1961. The tractor is currently fitted with good Agriculture tyres which hold air and are in used condition with age related cracking. The front lights and rear wing marker lights all work but these are after-market ones.

All tin work is in good condition but has been hand painted in the past. As you can see this tractor has a nice little safety cab fitted, this can be removed quickly by removing the four bolts on top of the wings.

The basics are it starts, it runs and will go to work. The clutch works fine, the foot brake works really well and will run all day long. Ive tried to cover as many points in add and Ive been as honest as possible about the condition of the Tractor, please study the pictures as Ive listed 12 of them to show condition etc. Overall the Tractor is in good condition for its age but please remember it is a used second hand tractor so will have the odd mark / dent here and there. This tractor will make a great work horse for a small holding or stables, what you see is what you get. We have full loading facilities this end so can load Tractor onto your trailer.
