Here for sale is : A. RUNNING PERKINS AD3.152 DIESEL ENGINE.

Starts within a couple of turns when cold with no heat or aids in the warm weather, needs the heater plug for the first start during this cold spell. Starts instant when warm and runs perfect.

Purported to have done low hours with just over 1500 hrs showing on the hour meter and runs clean enough with no excessive smoke, but does breathe more than expected when hot. Most Perkins engines do, even the newer ones but its only fair to be honest.

It could mean its a little more worn than expected, glazed up from light running or condensation in the oil from long term storage of the engine- only been tes. T run on the floor so cannot work it hard to get hot.

No obvious mixing of oil or water, holds fluids with no visible frost cracks or damage. Engine has been test run for over an hour with no boiling up/pressurising etc. Looking inside the rocker cover as seen in the pics its clean and free from excessive deposits which backs up the hour meter. Perfect oil pressure of 50 - 60+ psi when revving and sounds very well. With the exception of some minor items such as the top water outlet and flywheel etc this engine is identical to a MF 135 engine so will bolt straight in to one. It has the Massey Ferguson 135 type of cast iron stressed sump suitable for mounting axle etc in a tractor/custom conversion. Tractor back plate is also fitted so should mate up to MF 35/65/135 etc Fergy gearboxes no problem. You will have to match the flywheel to suit your application.

Comes with starter motor and alternator everything as shown in the pics. Potentially ready to drop in and go, ideal for a conversion project in a Massey, Fordson, Nuffield or similar.
