Typically if you are spraying onto. Plastic - you will need to plastic primer and the grey prime (so 2 different primers). Metal - you will need an etch or epoxy primer. Rough scratched service - best to use a high build primer that you can sand back smooth. Over old paintwork - if the lacquer barrier is still intact it's not necessary to prime, if you are through the lacquer to paint then just grey prime. Our selection of primers are available here.
