Prep is so important in particular primer. He primer you pick is based on the surface you are spraying on to.Typically if you are spraying onto. Plastic - you will need to plastic primer and the grey prime (so 2 different primers). Metal - you will need an etch or epoxy primer. Rough scratched service - best to use a high build primer that you can sand back smooth. Over old paintwork - if the lacquer barrier is still intact it's not necessary to prime, if you are through the lacquer to paint then just grey prime. Our selection of primers are available here. If your in any doubt feel free to use the link in the top right corner to message us. Please note some paints do come with recommendations for Primer colour, we try to advise this is in the listing but its not always possible due to volume.
